What Makes Inspired Homeschool Different?

I’m a former homeschooling mom who has walked through both the struggles and the breakthroughs of teaching at home.

When I first brought my son home from a private school, I had no idea where to start. He was so discouraged, and my funny, super chill boy wasn’t himself. He went inward. Still funny, still chill, but something in him had changed. the confidence inside him was gone.

I knew I had to bring him home, even though homeschooling wasn’t common at the time. I could see the negative self-talk and beliefs he had picked up, and I knew he needed a different kind of support.

Through prayer, the Lord put on my heart exactly what he needed. Day by day, I watched more of his personality return. His humor came back. His joy came back. And as I put into place the simple things the Lord showed me: meaningful encouragement, visible progress, building connection through meaningful rewards and celebration, his confidence began to rebuild. Our little homeschool became a place not just for academics, but for true healing and restoration.

The tools I create now all grew out of that season. These aren’t theories, trends, or ideas pulled from a curriculum. They are the same gentle, steady supports that helped my son rediscover his confidence and joy in learning

Now I am bringing the exact tools to you that the Lord gave me to encourage and help you and your children.
